Feeling blessed

Our family is feeling so blessed with our new addition.  We thank everyone for the visits, phone calls and all the gracious gifts.  As we prepared for our little guy to come, we never thought it would be so wonderful.  Having a new addition has brought us so much joy than we expected and Jayden is loving being a big brother.

 All prepped and in labor!  Pretty sure I was having a contraction here, but was worth a photo shot thanks to my epidural.

I asked Jeff to take a picture of the monitor.  Thought it was pretty cool to actually see what was happening.  I wasn't able to see it from where I was.  Jeff would have to educate you on what all the numbers are, but thought you'd maybe enjoy.

7 lbs 7.2 oz 20 inches

 

First skin on skin.  Amazing knowing that I've carried this little guy for 9 months and that moment I finally was able to snuggle him.

All the hard work payed off.  Our new addition!

I'm going to leave it at that for this month.  Next month will probably be filled with all kinds of photos of the big guy growing.
