Where did summer go?

This summer has gone so fast and can't believe in one day school will be starting.  There is a vibe in our house that is really good.  There is a certain someone that loves school so you can only imagine how the vibe goes.  3rd grade this year and can't believe we are starting on a new adventure.  Life can take on so many directions, but we sure are liking where our crazy lives are taking us.  The next few months will go by fast so we are going to try to make the most out of all occasions since there is limited time with Jayden being the only child.  Pretty sure the transition will not be the toughest, but will have some bumps in the road.  So here is to the last month of adventures and lets hope for many more.
A rainy day brought us with some friends and family for a few games of bowling.
Jayden's score!
Jayden and I enjoying some bonding time.
I finally got a score over 100!
The kids hanging out.
Jayden and I thought it would be really cool if we chalked on our whole sidewalk.  We finished the whole strip in front of the house and ran out of steam for the side yard.
Jayden hard at work on one of our creations that we made together.
Sleepover in style at the neighbors.
We headed to Memorial Park to see if we could find any butterflies or witness the process of the butterfly.  We found a few eggs, a few butterflies flying and that is all.
Jayden caught a frog though.
Where is Jayden?  Yes, this is where you can find him daily finding a tasty treat.
Grant came to visit us during our rummage sale and to buy a bird house.
My Aunt Eileen and Uncle Neil celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.
Many memories here at the farm.
What can the kids do with a big box?  Fill it with all the pillows and make a birds nest.
18 weeks.
Meet our little boy!  (Note: that is a leg, not a large penis)
Our dear little boy doesn't like to sit still so it was really hard to get a profile picture.
My dear friend Amy and her kids joined Jayden and I for a fun trip to Mulberry farms.
Jayden caught a goat and a chicken.
The kids were around the barn and we heard them say "hey mom, come look" and this is what we found.  Never a dull moment with these kids.
All of us on the hay ride.
The kids on one of the tractors.

I almost caught a turkey.
Fun water adventure at Meade Pool for the last trip this summer.
Hanging out under the mushroom.
Gabbi was a little hesitant, but sure loved running through this.
Football practice has started.
I was able to attend the annual STEMI (ST elevated myocardial infarction) conference.  If you don't know what that is, it a conference for us to learn about a certain kind of heart attack that require intervention as soon as possible.  We were lucky enough to have hands on experience with these pig hearts.  Fun to see the workings of what we try saving every day with my cardiac nursing family.

We hope that everyone has a great time back into the school year.
Until next time,
Jeff, Heather, Jayden and Baby
