We have had a pretty busy April thus far with only a few more days to go. It doesn't seem like it should be the end of the month already, I don't know where time goes. Soon we will be celebrating Jayden's birthday and I feel like we just celebrated Christmas. Spring is starting to show here, but very slowly. I have a few plants poking through the ground and think they will be popping more with the warmer weather ahead.
The Easter Bunny came to our house...
check out the note Jayden left for him on the fridge.

First sign of spring.
We took a trip up to the farm with my dad and went scouting for turkeys.
We seen a lot of prints, but no turkeys in site.

We were able to see a few of the deer back in the woods (26 of them).
Here is one of them prancing around in the snow.

Jayden was in seventh heaven being out in the woods...
guess I know where I will be finding him when he gets a little older.
He was excited to bring his BB gun and shoot at the ice floating down the river.

Over Jayden's spring break, I took some time off so we could have a few adventures.
We took a trip to 1000 Island Nature Center to see if we could spot any bald eagles.
No such luck, but we were able to take a little hike
and check out the inside of the center also.

Jayden thought he'd try a little canoeing...oh wait, there isn't any water.
A pic with the HUGE polar bear...good thing it isn't alive.
Bubble fun!!!
The Easter Bunny brought these bubbles and they don't pop and are fun to catch.

They had a carnival at school so Jayden and I went and checked it out.
He was excited to get his face painted with of course, a snake.

We had Jayden's friend Beck over for a play date.
We took the boys to Wilmars to make their own candy bar.
Here is the lady making it for them. It was pretty cool.

Jayden is always trying to find something fun to do with things we have around the house.
So he decided to try cup stacking with his Dixie cups.
A tower works good too unless the cat walks by and knocks it down.

All the girls went out to celebrate Stephanie's Bachelorette Party.
We had a lot of fun going out down town.
Let's just say I'm getting way too old for that, but it was a good time.

Jayden and Beck having a blast in the "Jeep".
I think they are getting a little too big for it, but hey, if they are having fun, who cares!!
Jayden wrote a journal entry of what he and Beck are planning on having this summer.
What do you think???
We will have to keep everyone posted so we can have some business.
I forgot to add this from last months post. Jeff took Jayden back to the Discovery Museum in Milwaukee for some fun. They enjoyed it very much and I think they should wait for me to go next time. I guess Jayd was so into looking through this para scope
that is was hard to get him away from it. It is just a cool pic.

Hope everyone's Spring is getting off to a good start...
Until next time,
Jeff, Heather and Jayden
