Giving Thanks

Giving Thanks is something very easy for this household.  Look at these 2 beautiful children!  We are so lucky to have such wonderful, loving and caring boys.  Plus such wonderful parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces and a nephew and our extended family.  What more can you ask for?  Nothing!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Its been a long time..

Wow, its been a long time since I've had the time to visit our blog.  Life sure can get away from you when you are having fun!  The school year is well on its way and Jayden is loving every minute of it.  Gym and Music always are a highlight along with TAG math.  Micah is growing so fast and looks forward to seeing big brother come home from school every day.  The love between the boys is so sweet and just perfect.  It is just so cute how they light each other up when they see one another.  Football is half way through for Jayden and we are loving how excited he is about it.  Only a few more weeks left and then we will be able to relax and enjoy the fall before the snow starts to fly.
So the pictures may be a little old(a few months old), but better late than never...

Our sweet Micah has so many silly faces, here are a few.

Our popular hot spot this summer...the skate park at Tallulah Park.

Bath time!

Jeff was able to put together a "hot" batch of salsa.  Yummmmm!

Gazing up after filling his tummy!
Grant was so excited to see the firetrucks!
Jayden and I were able to have a day to just the two of us so we took on some Mini golf...Jayden beat me by 9 strokes.  He made a hole-in-one too.

4th Grade!

Only way to get a 8 month shot was to put the sticker on his back...the little stinker.
This must be the new in thing.
Chew on bath toy for entire bath and play time.

Bird watching at Nature Rangers

Apple picking.  My goodness, when did Jayden get so tall?

Micah enjoying a taste of an apple too.
Brothers!

Flag football.  Jayden is a Viking this year.

Trying Grandpa Kraus' hat on
Thedacare had their annual Family Fun Fest.
Nicole and I took the kids for a few hours of fun.

Swinging and loving it!

Dad and I spent a whole day cooking down 57# of tomatoes, 6# onions and 12# peppers to make a yummy batch of 49 pints of spaghetti sauce.  Yum!

Drinks anyone?  Great cousin get together minus the kids.
I opened our curtains in our room to find this fellow...YIKES!
He sure learned that this isn't his home.
"The littles" crack me up...trying to give horsey rides
(sorry the picture is blurry...I think we were all laughing).
Claudia needs to be wherever her baby is
and now eating whatever snack he has...

Buds

Don't know where to find Claudia...
You'll find her in Micah's seat ever time!

Mr. Blue Eyes
Hope your October is well and enjoy the month before it gets away!
Until next time...

Summer Vacation

We are well into summer vacation and we have been loving our time off together.

Jayden was able to enjoy a fun time through school running the "color run" with the neighbors. "The Pine Street Pirates". So thankful that our dear neighbor Ivy brought Jayden after the rained out first date.
Enjoying the swing from my dear friend Amy.  Loves to be outside enjoying the weather no matter what it is like outside.
Last day of 3rd grade
What do you do when you get home on the last day?
Getting wet!
Enjoying a fire on vacation.
Smores anyone?
The sunset as we were getting ready to catch some walleyes...only problem, they outsmarted us.
Sleepy boy on vacation.
Staying away from the mosquitos.
Micah's first boat ride.
Reeling in a big one...
The catch of the day
This fun mushroom growing upside down.
Jayden and his bugs...loving this cool dragon fly.
This huge slug was on one of our adventures.
Look who's 6 months
Brothers...loving one another more and more each day.
 Gotta love those chunky feet.
Just chilling 6 month style.

Hope all is well with everyone and enjoy your month of July.
